Where does the wood come from?
Each piece is crafted from reclaimed wood sourced in Northern California, mostly trees removed by municipalities and tree services. We also salvage wood from private and government landowners when their trees fall.
What does an Original Timber piece cost?
Every piece is sized and built to order, so pricing depends on species, slab, dimensions and base. Call (415) 640-0431 or send an inquiry for a quote.
Can I choose my own slab?
Yes. All custom work is crafted and delivered to your vision and specifications, with the option to select your slab.
How do I care for my furniture?
With minimal attention your piece will last for generations without waxing or polishing. A regular wipe down with a soft damp cloth is all it needs. Avoid excessive heat, abrasive tools and prolonged moisture, which can damage the finish.
Do you deliver?
Local customers can pick up during business hours or have their piece delivered. We deliver throughout the United States, priced by size and speed. International clients can use our preferred shippers or their own, upon approval.
How do payment and deposits work?
Orders are prepaid before shipment, and an initial deposit secures your place in line for fabrication. Within the US we accept bank checks, cashier’s checks, cash and wire transfers. Wire transfer is preferred for international orders.
